Nothing is better than to begin your three day wedding pre-party on a rooftop with spectacular views of Palma de Mallorca and the Mediterranean Sea. For Katrin & Felix, the wedding weekend started with a casual get-together-party on the rooftop terrace of a cool beach restaurant in a perfect location between Palma and the actual wedding location. In a relaxed atmosphere canapes were served and the guests relaxed, celebrated and enjoyed the breathtaking views.
Katrin and Felix wedding day took place in no other than this magnificent 19th century old luxury fortress hotel in Cala Blava, Mallorca. Cap Rocat is set in a privileged location and offers unparalleled views of the Mediterranean sea and the Bay of Palma.
They shared their amazing day with their family and closest friends and I couldn´t have been happier to plan it for them. It will be remembered by all for years to come.
The wedding began with a beautiful ceremony on the terrace of the hotel that offers breathtaking views of the gorgeous turquoise waters of Mallorca. It is a truly unique and peaceful setting. We decorated the ceremony with elegant white covered chairs and white carpet and for the wedding arch we used a simple but rustic and beautiful wooden piece with white flowers.
After the ceremony the bride and groom and the guests walked through the hotel´s peaceful walkways and naturally stunning massive walls and stone corridors set into the rock to get to the reception site, where they were able to enjoy the music played by a swing jazz quintet who offered a fun and enjoyable repertoire and have some delicious canapes.
For the dinner we decorated the tables with white tablecloths and white covered chairs, as well as for the lighting we used big gorgeous white lampoon lights. The white setting against the stone backdrop of the rock fortress gave it a simple yet very elegant look. The guests enjoyed outstanding and superb dishes.
And to complete this wonderful celebration what better than disco dancing the night away at the very unique disco setting of the hotel, which was an old bunker in the fortress, and was decorated with beautiful lighting.
And what could be a better way to end the festivities than to spend the third day sailing the beautiful waters of Mallorca in a catamaran, just relaxing and enjoying their new life together.
This wedding was truly something else. We left no stone unturned and the bride and groom had the time of their lives in this mesmerizing, truly magical hotel. I don´t know, maybe is its history or maybe its beautiful architecture but it seemed like we were transported to another world. All three days were absolutely unforgettable!
